01. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Vireonix website, free APIs, Try interface, developer tools, and related services. It does not cover third-party services that may integrate with Vireonix.
02. Information we collect
We do not require accounts, so we generally do not collect account profiles, passwords, or billing information. We collect content and signals you send while using the free Services.
We collect chat traces and related model-interaction data. This may include conversation history, system and user messages, model outputs, tool calls, attachments or other inputs, model and parameter selections, timestamps, token counts, latency and error signals, and similar technical metadata associated with your use of the API, Try page, or other Services.
We also collect technical and usage data such as IP address (used for rate limiting and security), device and browser information, request logs, and interactions with our website.
03. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, troubleshoot, and secure the free Services;
- Enforce per-IP rate limits and prevent abuse;
- Measure performance and improve product reliability and safety;
- Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our models, systems, and features using chat traces and related content;
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates; and
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements.
04. Chat traces and model training
By using the Services, you acknowledge that Vireonix may collect, store, and use prompts, outputs, and other chat traces to train and improve our foundation models and related systems. This includes data submitted through the free API, Try interface, and other interfaces.
We may process and retain this data for product improvement, safety research, abuse prevention, security, debugging, and model development. Where practical, we may de-identify or aggregate data, but we do not guarantee that chat traces will be excluded from training datasets.
You should not submit personal data of others, regulated sensitive data, or confidential business secrets unless you have a lawful basis and authority to do so, knowing that such content may be used for training and product improvement.
05. How we share information
We may share information with vendors that provide infrastructure, analytics, security, and support under contractual confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
06. Access through resellers and third-party applications
A reseller or third-party application may provide customer accounts, API keys, credit balances, billing, or a user interface that sends requests to Vireonix. That operator has its own privacy practices and may collect information independently from Vireonix. Review its privacy notice before use.
When an operator forwards a request, Vireonix receives the submitted prompts, conversation data, parameters, outputs, and technical signals available with that request. We generally do not receive the operator’s customer billing information unless the operator includes it. Vireonix handles forwarded content as described in this policy, including possible retention and use for model training and improvement.
07. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including security, rate limiting, training, and legal needs. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, though no system can guarantee absolute security.
08. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To submit a request, contact main@vireonix.ai. We may need information about your use (such as approximate time and IP) to locate relevant data because we do not maintain traditional user accounts.
09. International transfers
Vireonix may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our Services and legal obligations evolve. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice for material changes. Questions can be sent to main@vireonix.ai.
